I was pretty excited about this event. Not only was it celebrating the release of Strong Arm Steady’s album with Madlib, but I knew that I was have unlimited access to shoot the event. Suprise of the night was the David Banner/ Black Thought beatbox freestyle. I used my Tokina for most of the shots. I really love the wide angle in these close quaters. I do need a better zoom lens though, the Tamron 25-80mm is just too damn soft on the focus. Not to mention it being only an f4. Maybe and L series lens one day? Maybe. Photos after the cut….
